TV Appearances

As well as the various appeals made on UTV and BBC News, the family have also featured on specific television programmes. The first TV programme dedicated to Lisa was Spotlight. This half hour programme delved into the paramilitary angle of Lisa’s disappearance which now seems to be less likely than previously thought.

The next programme to feature the case was BBC Crimewatch, where Lisa’s disappearance was highlighted and an appeal was made by the Senior Investigating Officer to boat owners in the province. There was now a possibility that Lisa was in water.

Lisa’s Dad’s birthday and an appearance on UTV’s Kelly Show. Lisa’s sister Joanne and her Dad make an emotional plea again for the return of Lisa’s body on such a poignant day. Lisa’s Dad explains the heartache of going through a birthday without his eldest daughter.
