Northern Ireland Football Match Tribute
The next date which provided an opportunity for support for the campaign was the day after the 1st anniversary when the Northern Ireland team played a friendly game against Estonia at Windsor Park on Wednesday 1 March. This was hugely significant with the occasion of a game involving the national team providing an opportunity for the whole country to come together as one in support of Lisa's family. Again, Lisa's family and friends posed behind the banners on the Windsor Park pitch with Lawrie Sanchez ( Manager ), Jim Boyce ( IFA President ) and Howard Wells ( IFA Chief Executive ) in a powerful show of support. Again, the Northern Ireland sporting public showed great support for the family, as they walked round the pitch with the banners before the game. The local TV news bulletins reported the event.
From the Dorrian Family
Again we would like to thank all those who took part in the NI football tribute and to Andy for organising this fantastic opportunity for Lisa's campaign. If anyone else would like to borrow the banners for ANY occasion, please let us know through the website. We would love others to use the banner to keep Lisa's disappearance highlighted and show those who have cruelly taken her from us that we will NEVER give up on finding our daughter / sister / auntie.
